Merriewood Children's Center was founded by Diane Kisner and is now owned by Kevin Meany and Mim Bazzell both long time Merriewood teachers. Staff is hired based on ability to work with children, understanding of child development and a personality compatible with our philosophy. The staff is hired without regard to race, creed, gender or age. The ratio of staff to nursery school children is 1:6 and for school age children 1:8.
